Refund policy

We are committed to meeting your expectations and we back the products and brands on our site.  If you encounter an issue with your order, please contact us and give us the opportunity to correct the issue - incorrect items, missing items, or an item that is damaged during shipment can often be quickly corrected by our team.  We ask for your patience, understanding, and communication - and we'll earn your trust.

 

If you need to return an item for any reason, all return requests must be filed within 30 days from the date of purchase, and must be processed following the instructions below.

 

Submitting a Return Request

Click your profile icon in our store's navigation or use the URL below to access your account and request a return.

Customer Account Access - Login Page

  1. Log in to your account (2-step verification):
    1. In the "Email" field , enter your email address, and then click "Continue".
    2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
    3. Go back to our online store, and then enter the six-digit verification code.
  2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
  3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  4. Select a reason for the return and add any notes that you feel may assist us in reviewing your request and processing this return.
  5. Click "Submit Request".

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you will receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label.

Once we receive the item(s) being returned, you will receive a refund for the item(s).

 

Please know that all returns, refunds, and discounts are provided at the sole discretion and authority of Heavy Metal Diecast.

  • In-person sales, such as items purchases from us at toy shows and events, are not returnable.  If you have a specific question, please contact us directly and we will review on a case-by-case basis.
  • Items purchased from our secondary storefronts - eBay, Walmart, Amazon, etc - must be requested within 30 days, and may only be filed using that specific site's return request form or process.

 

CANCELLATION FEE:

Please note that once payment has been made, all cancellations over $100 USD (including shipping) will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.  This includes cancellations initiated by the buyer and cancellations of fraudulent orders as identified by the seller.  This fee covers the transaction fees charged by Shopify and incurred by Heavy Metal Diecast for payment processing.  This fee also reimburses the processing of the cancelation, fraud prevention and inquiry by Heavy Metal Diecast, and other related tasks involved in preparing orders.

*** This cancellation fee may be waived if the customer contacts us directly via email <heavymetaldiecast@gmail.com> with the specific reason for the cancellation and circumstances.  Fees are designed to further protect from fraud and theft and are charged and waived at the sole discretion of Heavy Metal Diecast.
